The Plenary

The Plenary is the Commission’s governing body and is formed by five commissioners, including the Chairman. The commissioners deliberate in full and decide issues by a majority of votes. The Chairman has the casting vote in case of a tie.

Commissioners are appointed by the President of the Republic and serve eight-year periods, renewable only once.
